| Welcome to Surfers Paradise Rugby Union Club
Surfers Paradise Rugby Union was started in 1974, Played in the Brisbane competition until 1978 which saw the formation of Gold Coast & Districts rugby union and we were premiers for the first 8 years of Gold Coast & Districts rugby union. Several players throughout the years have played in the Queensland country competition, and to this day we still have players in the country competition and other representative teams Surfers Paradise hosts many visiting teams from around the world who train & play games at Surfers Rugby from club level through to Super 14s To this day Surfers Paradise Rugby Union is a strong club in the competition with 16 junior teams & 4 senior teams.
